The EGSS team consists of several different positions, each with their own responsibilities. The EGSS also has three different committees, which organize academic, professional, and social opportunities and events throughout the year.

President and PhD Representative: Represents the interests of PhD students in/to the department and acts as a liason between students, faculty, and others. Together with the Vice-President, the President determines the meeting agenda and manages the EGSS team.
Vice-President and MA Representative: Represents the interests of MA students in/to the department and acts as a liason between students, faculty, and others. Together with the President, the Vice-President determines the meeting agenda and manages the EGSS team.
English Student Representative in Graduate Student Society: Represents and advocates for the interests of students to the Graduate Student Society (GSS).
Secretary: Runs meetings and keeps records of meeting minutes and decisions made by the EGSS team.
Webmaster and Communications: Manages, maintains the EGSS website and Twitter account, as well as helps promotes events.
Treasurer: Manages and keeps track of EGSS funding and finances.
Academic and Professional Committee: Organizes academic and professional development events throughout the year, in consultation with the Graduate Advisor.
Conference and Colloquia Committee: Organizes conferences and colloquia throughout the year (typically one per term).
Social Committee: Organizes social events throughout the year.
