The Academic and Professional Committee handles any and all issues concerning the academic and professional lives of graduate students in the Department of English. Specifically, the Academic and Professional Committee assists students in working through program requirements, helps student source out funding for travel and training opportunities, and hosts professional development events. Also, this committee has a standing responsibility for the Graduate Student lounge space in Clearihue Building.
If you have any concerns and/or questions which you may think fall under the purview of the Academic and Professional Committee, please contact the chair either directly or indirectly through the EGSS President or Vice-President.
