The English Graduate Students’ Society (EGSS) invites graduate students and faculty to share new and ongoing research at the Spring 2016 Colloquium, “Ideas of March.” This informal event aims to connect scholars within the English department through a series of short (10 minute) presentations and Q&A sessions.
CFP: To present at the colloquium, please send a brief proposal (~100 words) outlining the topic of your presentation to Nadia Timperio at email@example.com by Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Presentations can introduce a project or area of interest at any stage of research or development. It is a great forum to ‘test run’ MA Essay defence presentations or seek feedback on papers that will be presented at a later conference (e.g., LWC ’16). Multimedia presentations are welcome and encouraged; please specify any special AV requirements.
About the Colloquium: The event will run from 2:00 to 5:00 pm on Friday, March 4, 2016. The EGSS welcomes faculty and students to attend any portion of the event they are able to.
Please direct any questions about the colloquium to the Conference and Colloquia Chair, Nadia (firstname.lastname@example.org).
