CFP: What Are You Working On?
What are you working on? The EGSS is holding a Graduate English Colloquium that will offer graduate students (returning and incoming) and faculty the opportunity to answer this question in a 10-minute presentation, using a maximum of 3 slides. The goal is to share information about new and ongoing research in the department. Incoming students are particularly encouraged to attend.
If you would like to present at the colloquium, please send a 100-word proposal outlining the topic of your presentation to Caroline at winterc[at]uvic[dot]ca by Friday, September 5, or submit it using the form below. Presentations should introduce a project or area of interest at any stage of research or development.
To facilitate the smooth running of the colloquium, we will ask for each presenter’s slides to be uploaded to a central location by Tuesday, September 16. Multimedia presentations are welcome and encouraged; please specify any special AV requirements.
